Sendai Tourism & Convention Bureau is a foundation founded by Miyagi prefectural government, Sendai city government, Sendai chamber of commerce and industry, local businesses and related entities such as tourism etc．
The main objectives of the bureau are to attract tourists and national as well as international conventions to Sendai and to promote the city as " Sendai, the city of tourism and the international convention".
